At AE, I worked with our largest client, Alpha School, a pioneering private primary education institution based in Austin, TX, with plans for nationwide expansion. I was tasked with reimagining and establishing a new vision for DreamLauncher, an iOS app designed to help teens manage their productivity, balance daily life, and build healthier digital habits.

AI-Assisted UX Research: Over two months, I spearheaded a cutting-edge approach to discovery and delivery, leveraging AI to optimize every stage of the process. This included using AI for instant benchmarking and concept feedback, writing UX copy, and augmenting research efforts. AI became my indispensable assistant, serving as a note-taker, synthesizer, and early synthetic user tester to gain valuable teen insights in real time.

The app now provides a comprehensive view of users’ digital and real-world habits. It tracks screen time and flags unproductive behaviors like doom-scrolling or excessive gaming. Beyond digital metrics, DreamLauncher integrates real-life activities, using custom geofencing to log time spent with friends, fitness and sleep habits via Apple Watch/Health, time at home with family, school study hours, and social outings through personalized location tracking.
